FAAX/x is a no-nonsense design studio with a strong focus on looking for a different use, a second, better life for products and material nobody wants anymore.

 

The Graffiti Stones™ concept fits very well in our base rule because we find our starting material on e-Bay, public works department sites and other places where people can dump their old stuff like 'out of fashion' and dirty building and pavement stones.

 

We love stones, it costs loads of energy to make them, they are almost indestructable and can last for thousands of years. They are a perfect fit for 

the Cradle to Cradle concept, an approach to sustainable design, released in a book by William McDonough and Michael Braungart " Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things. "
